Music and Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. Book by Burt Shevelove and Larry Gelbart. Performed by the Fremont Community Players with permission by Music Theatre International, and directed by Lee Meyer.  Part of the 2019-2020 Fremont Opera House Season.

“A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum” is a Tony Award winning musical inspired by early Roman plays. It is a hilarious show with hysterical complications and catchy tunes.

Cast includes Doyle Schwaninger, Jim Campbell, Cindi Lamprecht, Devon Webben, Don Cunningham, David Simmons, Roger Bunnell, Bob, Misfeldt, Hannah Post, Geoff Semrad, Kaleb Jorgensen, Jack O’Connell, Michaela Sabata, Katherine Lederer and Michelle Hespen.

Piano by Lu Ann Ehmcke and Gloria Breithaupt; Bass by Nick Heidlage; Percussion by Kat Sodawasser.
