Now’s your chance. \nThe Fremont Opera House is holding open auditions for “Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding”\, the wildly fun\, fully immersive comedy that invites audiences to become actual guests at an outrageous Italian-American wedding. Performers won’t just be acting on stage – they’ll be interacting directly with the audience\, improvising in character\, and helping create one of the most unforgettable theatre experiences we’ve ever produced. \nAudition Details: \nDate: July 22nd and 23rd \nTime: 6:30-? \nLocation: Fremont Opera House \nAges: 17+ \nWhat to Expect: \nAuditions will be casual and collaborative – no need to prepare a monologue or scene in advance. Instead\, actors will participate in short improvised scenes designed to showcase natural comedic timing\, character work\, and the ability to interact with others in real time. \nWhile not all roles require singing\, BUT a few do. If you’d like to show off your vocal skills\, you’re welcome to prepare a brief (1-minute) song of any wedding or reception-style song – just give it a comedic twist! Think fun\, funny\, and a little over-the-top. \nWhat We’re Looking For: \n\nStrong improv instincts (or the ability to fake it convincingly)\nBig personalities with comedic timing\nComfort performing without a fourth wall – every actor will engage with the audience\nEnsemble players who thrive in high-energy\, unscripted moments\n\nAbout the Show: \nTony n’ Tina’s Wedding isn’t your average play – it’s an experience.
