The Fremont Area Big Give is a 24-hour online giving challenge led by the Fremont Area Community Foundation to raise unrestricted dollars for the nonprofits in our area. It is a day to celebrate the power of philanthropy and support the good work of nonprofits who help make the Fremont area a special place to live, work and thrive.

Like most organizations, the Fremont Opera House has been significantly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. As a non-profit organization, the FOH relies solely on donations and income generated from live entertainment and rental fees. Without any of these things happening in 2020 and very few in 2021, our beautiful and historic building has suffered tremendously.
